Ceramic Coating or PPF?
Ceramic coating is primarily for gloss, hydrophobic behavior, easier maintenance and environmental surface protection. Paint protection film provides a physical film barrier that is better suited to rock chips, road debris and physical impacts.
Compatible PPF and ceramic coating systems can also be combined when both types of protection matter.

No. Ceramic coating is transparent and does not remove scratches. Correctable defects need to be addressed during paint enhancement or correction before coating.
Does a new car need paint correction before ceramic coating?
Not always. Even new vehicles should be inspected because transport, dealership preparation and washing can introduce defects. Correction should be based on the actual paint condition.
Is ceramic coating scratch-proof or rock-chip-proof?
No. Ceramic coating improves surface characteristics but is not a physical impact barrier. Paint protection film is better suited to rock-chip and impact protection.
Does ceramic coating make a car maintenance-free?
No. Coated vehicles still require proper washing and ongoing care. Ceramic coating can make maintenance easier, but it does not eliminate it.
How long does ceramic coating last?
Service life depends on the specific coating product, installation, vehicle use, environmental exposure and maintenance. Compare warranty and service information for the actual coating selected.
